Alright, can you breadboard without a cooler as well?

I have reseated the CPU twice and unplugged/replugged everything each time.... I can try to take a picture of the MOBA socket for bent pins, since it is hard to tell if there are any. Would bent pins do it? Not sure how they would've gotten bent either.
