i'm afraid if i uninstall all the drivers all my usb ports will die then i wont be able to do anything, uninstalling and installing a driver is what started all this in the first place. since nothing else has worked i guess i'm just going to live with these 4 ports.

for whatever reason my system restore was off, dont remember turning it off. so there goes that, and with windows it doesnt find any drivers to update

So i booted into BIOS, all ports worked fine with my mouse. Restarted into safe mode and tried installing the new drivers, Asus ones wouldnt let me in safe mode.
