Thanks for your help. Ended up just having to buy an internal ODD and install through friends disk and then unplug it once done.

Ok i'm just mounting the ISO using rufus now. Will try and see if I get an error. Then will try after disabling secureboot and see if anything changes. Then will get back to you. BRB

I am using Windows 10 atm. And just used UltraISO to mount/burn it to the USB. And then booted the usb from the Bios. And then when going to install windows7 is when I get the load driver error.

Says for all of the ways to install it I need the ASUS dvd (which I do) but I don't have a CD drive or a SATA ODD. Anyway around this?

No need to be like that maxalge.. Just wondering why they would supply 2 of these cables in the pack and it's for the perfect reason. (Which would make it intended). Thanks for the input guys. Will stick to using 2 x 6+2p cables just because no one has tried and warranty reasons I guess.

Thanks so much for your help. Does running a CPU lead (8pin to 4+4pin) to the GPU as an alternative to one of the 6+2pin change anything?
