Samsung Galaxy S4 Gets Early Teardown

icemunkThat's cause of our telecom oligarchy. The quad-core will be plenty fast. Their Octacore is really just a quad core for performance, and a low-powered quad-core for menial tasks What? It's because of LTE concerns. The Exynos doesn't have LTE on the die, the Snapdragon does. The Note 2 in...

Andy Rubin Stepping Down as Android Head

aicomBecause the stock market doesn't care how awesome your innovation is. All they see is $$$ in profit. That's why it's an oil company sitting on top now (take your pick of tech companies; I'll bet most/all of them are innovating more than Exxon) Tech companies are a lot more volatile. Any of...

    First amd computer build

The 1GB cards have a bottleneck in some games. High resolution textures at 1080p are spilling over 1GB now.

    First amd computer build

Yes. Yes it is. You'll notice it way more than you'll notice any other components while in day to day usage. I put one in my laptop and am thankful for it everyday.

Is this a good 1600$ gaming build?

I would cut down to an i5, lose the aftermarket cooler, and get an SSD for OS, programs, and games.

I would definitely get an SSD at least for your operating system. Have you considered a 2GB HD7850?

    GTX 660 or HD 7850 2gb

The 660 will be slightly better, but it also costs a little more. Here's the bench, weigh the opportunity cost: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/549?vs=660

    Is my videocard integrated?

If you own it, why not try it? It may not be great, but if you play around with settings you may be able to get 30FPS which is acceptable.

    Is my videocard integrated?

Well it has its own memory, but it is probably soldered onto the motherboard. But it's not integrated in the sense of it shares system memory and is on the CPU die or northbridge.

    Is my videocard integrated?

It's not integrated, but it isn't a good card either. What game is it? With only 16 texture units, 96 shaders, and DDR3 it won't be maxing anything out.

    Inspiron 530s with Pentium D SL9QQ?

The Celeron 450 is a Conroe Processor based on the Core architecture. The Pentium D 645 is based on Netburst. The 530s never shipped with a Netburst AFAIK, so the motherboard must not support it.

    Overload an electrical outlet?

You might have a DOA power supply. If it was the breaker, it would be tripped.
