    [SOLVED] I'm looking for a PCIe 3.0 x1 SATA expansion card ?

Unfortunately shipping to Australia is $41. Looking today I found a PCI-E card locally with two SATA ports, although it doesn't specify PCI-E revision and it is $82.98 plus shipping: https://www.mwave.com.au/product/startech-2-port-pcie-sata-6-gbps-controller-card-ab66955

    [SOLVED] I'm looking for a PCIe 3.0 x1 SATA expansion card ?

I would like to connect another sata device to my pc, but have used all available sata connections except the two hidden behind the graphics card. I have an available PCI-E 3.0 x1 slot. Can i upgrade my power supply?

Dell specifies the 275W PSU at 65% efficient. That is rubbish. It is a very old design. Likely the 275W and 320W PSUs came from different manufacturers. Corsair RM550x should be fine if that is what you have available. Note that some models of GeForce GTX 1050 Ti require a 6-pin PCI-E power...

Can i upgrade my power supply?

Any decent power supply will have APFC and be at least 80% efficient (80 plus rating). It is likely that the 65% efficient supply does not have APFC. APFC is not a Dell special feature. There are no special requirements for using an APFC supply. You don't have to use a UPS, but if you do then...

Can i upgrade my power supply?

It looks like Dell sold these with a rubbish power supply and the option to upgrade to a decent one. http://i.dell.com/sites/doccontent/shared-content/data-sheets/en/Documents/Dell_Precision_T1650_Spec_Sheet.pdf Dell generally won't list compatibility information for 3rd party components. Most...

    Ryzen 5 1600 is cheaper than i5 8400 where I live

The Core i5 8400 is a much better CPU than the Ryzen R5 1600, even with the Ryzen CPU overclocked, for games and any workload that is not heavily threaded. Prices of the two are generally similar. Motherboards for the Ryzen are generally cheaper.
