Video card seems fine I've never over locked it or had a problem with it in the past.. it's never even got hotter than 30 degrees Celsius so fans hardly ever spool up to max, my CPU hasn't got past that either everything is normally cool just today when I cleaned the rad the rad itself was hot

No strange noises just black screen and reboot,I don't mind much as it takes about 30 to boot and 1 Mon to rejoin a game so It was more of an inconvenience. And there are only 2 pins on my motherboard just have to short them together?

I thought of another problem. The past few days my pc has been crashing when playing games I chalked it down to overheating so I cleaned out the fans and rad this morning of dust .. there was a lot in there.. I did the CMOS reset at the same time.. however I'm now wondering if it was my PSU...

Battery ordered just incase, and by check the PSU connections do you mean inspect or actually check voltage as I don't have tools for that, like I said tho it was working perfectly this morning.

I've tried that.. I've gone back to breadboarding .. everything is out of the case I have a test setup on the case switches and a mb speaker.. no Beebs with or without ram in every configuration... I don't see it being PSU cos the whole system worked fine this morning I just wanted to reset bios...

I know this thread is somewhere on here but the ones I found are from 2008. Also I don't think over clocking is the correct catagory but it's the closest I can think of I cleared my CMOS using the pins and since then nothing has worked .. peripherals no display .. the drives spin up and all...
