Hey, I'm planning on buying a 144hz monitor, and I can't decide out of the vg259q or vg258q. I'll mainly be competitively gaming and don't know whether I should go with the vg259q which is 144hz 1ms IPS, or the vg258q which is 144hz 1ms TN, I've heard the tn panels are more responsive for gaming... -

[SOLVED] Is it possible to make my display smaller with black bars?
This probably sounds stupid but I have a 31.5" 1920x1080 monitor, but I find it too big, so is it possible I can make my display smaller using black bars and not lose quality?
