Toshiba Laptop not loading after 8GB upgrade
I have a Toshiba Satellite A665. It comes factory with (2) 1 GB Sticks of DDR3 PC3-8500S RAM. I purchased (2) 4GB sticks with same specs on eBay. The listing also said it was compatible with the laptop's model. (Yeah, right). Not knowing what would happen I bought them. -Installed both sticks... -

Check event viewer in windows to see if there are any errors that may have come up at the time of crash -

Hp pavilion led lights up, nothing else - possible motherboard issues?
check cpu for thermal paste and properly seated- vtec33
