Is it worth the risk to try to update a motherboard in this manner? Rather than just buy a new board that's already updated for me and selling my old board?
Yes. Same exact brand, color, item number, DDR, etc. Only difference is one was from a 2015 batch, the other was from the very end of 2014.
I didn't think to try this tbh.
This is also a good idea. I will try this.
No, I was worried doing 4-5 instead of 1 would increase my chances of bricking...
Just like the title says. I had issues with Physical Memory on task manager showing 90%+ and things getting groggy. Never once had issues with CPU spiking. So I added 16GB of RAM and now suddenly I have huge issues with CPU and ZERO issues with Physical Memory. And tbh the CPU issue is MUCH more...
I'm going to conclude my research on Ultrawides for now.
But I still need help deciding on a 24" monitor that's IPS and VESA if anyone figures anything out. Let me know!
I've been hard at work doing research on ultra-wide monitors hoping it would be the end-all solution for my needs. Linu's video is old. But the old stuff is the only stuff in my price range.
34" fits perfectly on my desk and ever since watching this video on how to efficiently multi-task on an...
Update:

This video by Linus just made me consider getting an Ultrawide 34" computer instead. And from what I can tell, it looks like I'd save a lot of money just getting 1 monitor instead of several.
Idk how it would work for screensharing on Discord though...
Why I'm upgrading:
I only want dual-monitors. I had this but then one broke.
Sadly the monitors I own aren't really available anymore, so I can't replace the broken one even if I wanted to.
They're super old anyways. The color accuracy is non-existent and they really make my eyes hurt so I'm way...
Short version: I turned on my computer and the screen is black. But only when I use BOTH of my sapphire graphics cards via crossfire. When I use just one by itself (either one), everything works 100% fine.
In fact using both randomly works like 5-10% of the time. Right now I'm writing this with...
I ended up just buying this fan:

For other people experiencing the same problem; look at the back of the fan and buy a replacement fan...
These listings are all Chinese sellers.
Will any generic 85mm fan work? Is there a such thing as better quality for more money with graphics card fans? Do the bearings get better?
Edit: Will this fan work for my card...
One of the fan's stopped working on my HD 7900 Series graphics card. I'm not entirely sure which graphics card I have within the 7900 series, but it looks like this (It's one of these three):

'Private internet access' VPN and uTorrent both work perfectly fine on the windows 7 SSD I have been using for years, but I recently got a brand new SSD and used the SAME EXACT setup files; same software preferences and everything on a brand-new Windows 7 install using the same exact windows 7...
