Intel actually has another reason for what they do with their low base speeds. Ever got an i5 that just wouldn't over clock? If you do one of the cores will crash? They get to sell a certain percentage of silicon this way that otherwise would go to a lower product stack or the garbage bin.

Sooooo.....where exactly were these firmwares deployed to? Cuz I ain't seeing em at the MSI website for the godlike or the ACE.

Sunday morning I had a 3900x in my cart at AMD.com. I went back and put a 5700XT Gold in my cart and when I went to pay it told me that they were sold out of the 3900x and it would be removed from my cart. It then let me replace it with a 3700x. I ended up removing the 3700x from my cart...

The real focus here, performance-wise, falls to the Core i9-9900K versus the Ryzen 9 23900X. Should be Ryzen 9 3900X. Also, in the price per thread chart, the 9900K is divided by 8 not 16....math a lil but fuzzy on that. Great article tho!!!! Can't wait for some early benchmarks!! waltsmith

And yet be sure we will soon be seeing 4k resolution being common in our 5" or 6" screen smartphones. As an all purpose, everyday main monitor, at this price point, this screen bears some serious consideration.
