Would like to get a constant 144fps in 1080p. BF1 ultra. Please don't tell me its overkill!! Tired of reading that response in my searching. My i7 4770 non k and 1070ftw will hold 90 to 120 fps with everything at low. Will I be pleased with a 1080ti or disappointed? Or should I upgrade the 4770...

I know my current setup is still strong jeffredo, but changing expectations will not give me more FPS.

OK Thx. Just needed some sort of confirmation. Looks like I will do the 7700k route and a 1080ti in the coming months. And yes, I will spend that kind of money to get 144hz and 1080p. Plus hopefully make a few bucks on my current parts.

Thx for your opinion! Those two mobo's are almost the exact same price as the Asus. Makes sense to stick with the Asus. Also the Noctua beats the Cryorig in all tests that I look up.
