in other words just use 1 pcie 8 pin and then standard 6 pin on same bit of cable will work??

ah actually one sec lol so if i have 30amps on the pcie rails this requires 42amps so surely id have to connect via the other rail aswell or just plugging in my two pcie plugs would also be the same?? lol sorry dude

both are six pin pcie but have the extra 2pins on the side so effectivley can both be 8 pins

i only have 2 pcie plugs though sorry really noob atm with psu's

well mine is 550w and says on the side it have 2 +12v rails each rated at 30amps so im guessing that equals 60amps and the 770 only requires 42amps??

msi 770 uses the same 1 6pin and 1 8 pin it just doesnt have this led notification thing on it what im wondering is if i plug my 550w into it will it go nope sorry wont work its not the recommended 600w we state

Unfortunately I don't have the money to get the toxic edition as it would mean buying a new PSU :( I really want the MSI one just been hearing bad things tbh :(
