Hey. I'm going to be replacing the same motherboard, like for like (faulty). Will i have to reinstall/reactivate, as it's exactly the same mobo or will i just be able to slot it in and windows reinstall the drivers? It's windows 8.1 64bit. Thanks for any help.

I would say, bang for buck the 6300 and the 8320 (£80 and £105) The apu's are pretty good, but those prices are good for those two processors imho.

Do they cost the same? How tight is your budget? Im in the uk, so the intel prices could be different etc... Rolli is right MSI am3+ 970 boards are extremely bad (overheating, throttling etc...) you could look at a 970a-ud3p or an asus m5a97 (or evo if available)
