OK I have the GPU in the top slot which is the 5.0/4.0/3.0 and moved teh NVMe back to M2_1 slot which is the CPU slot. Strangly enough GPU-Z is now saying GPU is at x16 which the firs time I had this configGPU-Z said x8. Sounds like this is the most efficient setup, thanks for the quick repsonse.
