I made the mistake of assuming my power supply had a 4pin ATX 12v that my new motherboard requires. The 6pin PCIe power connector fits, but I'm not sure that's safe. I'd really not want to have to wait three weeks for this adapter: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812816222...
