What's your budget? Are you looking for fancy RGB? I would suggest getting at least 16GB for now and making your build future proof for at least two - three years.

I personally just purchased the 1800x, but besides gaming, do you really need all the cores and threads when it comes to the 2700x ? The 1800x was also on sale for $250 CDN which was a steal IMO.
