Pc is working, all I did was use gpu in friends pc and use boot drive in friends pc and now it works thanks for all your help guys

Honestly, if you're overclocking, get an AIO it'll increase cpu lifetime, and also, because the coffee lake chips are 6-core, the cpu will end up becoming hotter.

Go for an aftermarket 1080, and make sure it says OC on it. Faster clock speeds, and cooler gpu. In my perspective it's worth it

I would say that get minimum 750 watt. My pc is running an i5-7600k and 1060 6gb and I use a 750 watt psu. Having a higher wattage will make sure your gpu gets enough power.

1. for this type of build, I suggest a asus z270f, and also the ports for monitors on mbd don't really matter because when you build it you want to connect monitors and/or VR stuff into the graphics card. 2. I think an msi gaming x graphics card should do fine. 3. i'd suggest maybe getting 2400...
