Yes I tested the ram in different slots, no luck (this is the new motherboard) I've rmaed the CPU hoping that was the cause.

I've gone through three 1150 motherboards now and the bloody pins are so damn sensitive and weak. The slightest prod and you bend a pin or two. What's the safest way of doing this to avoid bending pins?
Will this cable power my gtx 770 or do I need two? The end of the cable is a 8 pin connector which will fit my PSU and the two others are 6+2 pin. Here's an image of the cable below.

OK I know I sound like an idiot but could someone post a tutorial or write in their own words how to connect the 6 and 8 pin connector cables to and from the card to the PSU. Pictures would be good as I have so many friggin cables!
