Question Am I doing something wrong with my new PSU?

It's all taken apart atm but sometime over new Year I will assemble it with the PSU from my workstation to see if I can get it up and running with that. I'm kicking myself for being so stupid with buying that 8 GPU mining PSU. If it worked then all would be fine..

Question Am I doing something wrong with my new PSU?

I'm going to try one of those 4 x usb connectors to 1 pcie 2.0 x 4 slot adaptor just so I can get to grips with it all. If the connection sounds like it was fine then my problem must be with my PSU. I'll hook it all up again sometime after new year and see if it was the PSU, or me..!

Question Am I doing something wrong with my new PSU?

No, I never got that far as I thought it might be because I may be wiring them up wrong which was causing the PC not to fire up properly and the PSU to click on and off. So I switched everything off so I didn't fry my GPUs.

Question Am I doing something wrong with my new PSU?

I know. I didn't want to spend £300+ on a new 1200w PSU from ASUS just to experiment with and I also didn't want to take my Workstation apart just to borrow it's PSU. What I should have done is borrow the workstation PSU and spend the money on a deposit for a new PSU.

Question No monitor signal with Sapphire RX 6600 via PCIe riser - - is the PSU inadequate ?

Hello mate. I run a couple of I game 1080ti's for digital art, etc and they generally don't spin their fans until they heat up. They light up but don't spin on startup. I'm assuming that it may be that the gpu isn't being recognised due to hardware changes. If you unplug all your monitor cables...

Hello everyone, I am currently messing around with a build project of mine and I am trying to use Pcie risers. My old PSU didn't have enough Pcie 6+2 power cables so I bought another PSU from eBay. It's a 2000w 17gpu power leads, with molex and SATA power connectors and 1 motherboard power...

Question Custom Build Egpu/Network Server for multiple PC's

I just thought that they were a dedicated piece of equipment set with a specific task that added to the other firewalls and that the dedicated firewalls software controlled how all the smaller firewalls work. If I was to run a Linux/Unix open source server software or windows server 2k software then I might be better off custom building as a server rather than a workstation. I've never used server software before so I'll be taking a huge leap into the unknown and my skills with Ubuntu are pretty...
