I can confirm now that the solution was changing the cable and not using an adapter. DVI D to DVI D fixed the problem so if someone finds this thread and has a similar issue I am pretty sure that changing the cable will fix it.

Well heres the deal guys, the cable works, the port works and the monitor works I just had to change the input, my mistake.
