System will not power on, PSU or Mobo at fault?

Just got a new sound card to add to my build. To make room for it, I moved my 2-slot GPU to the second PCI-E 3.0 slot to uncover two more PCI slots, since I already have a wireless card in the PCI slot above the first PCI-E 3.0 slot. After rearranging the cards and plugging the machine back in...

Motherboard Not Recognizing PCI-E Wireless Card

Interestingly enough, it turned out to be something to do with the fact that I had my onboard ethernet driver disabled. Maybe it was complete dumb luck, but when I enabled it, it worked again.

Best Choice for PCI-E Wireless Card in Gaming rig?

Found one on my own. For anyone looking for the same type of thing, I eventually settled on the ASUS PCE-AC68. Pricey, but I like it so far. Can close the thread.

    Best HDD for speed/noise?

I'm looking to add a HDD to my build, I'm essentially looking for a something that's going to be the best combination of speed and low noise as I can get. I realize that SSDs are king of both those categories, I just need something with about 1TB to keep the Steam games I don't play as often...

Motherboard Not Recognizing PCI-E Wireless Card

I just purchased an ASUS PCE-AC68 card, but when I install it in my AsRock z97 Extreme4 mobo's top PCI-E x1 slot, the motherboard will not even recognize that there is anything in the slot. I have a graphics card installed directly below the wireless card, taking up two slots. Then I have two...

Best Choice for PCI-E Wireless Card in Gaming rig?

I'm building a new gaming PC (r9 290, i5 5690k) and need a wireless card for it. I know ethernet is optimal for what I'm doing but it's just not an option where I am. The router I'm using is top of the line, so that won't be an issue. I'll be running Windows 8.1, my mobo is the Asrock z79...

Looking for newer Budget Card to match with older Phenom II 940

If you're ok with me taking up a bit more of your time, what sort of difference do you notice in games with/without PhysX? Also, I'm new to the Tom'sHardware forums (been using the reviews for years), what's the best way to give positive feedback to other users on the forums?

Looking for newer Budget Card to match with older Phenom II 940

I generally shy away from pre-overclocked cards, but I've loved every Asus card I've owned, so I like your suggestions. It sounds as though my hopeful expectations of finding a card under $100 were a bit unresearched. I was looking at the newer Radeon R7 series as well, but I'm not sure how...

Looking for newer Budget Card to match with older Phenom II 940

I need a current graphics card, at most $100 (the lower the better) to pair with my old AMD Phenom II x4 940. I'd like the cheapest modern card I can find that won't bottleneck the 940. I can buy cheap and overclock to match the CPU if I need to. My current PC is having issues so I'm looking...

Tom's Hardware League of Legends Player Intro Thread

It'd be pretty sick if we could set up a 5v5 team from this - IGN: wizmander I play pretty much every role, depending on my mood.
