In my case that's fine. My A: drive only contains very large archives with data from previous years, and I access these archives only very occasionally.
HI, you state that drive letters A: and B: "should not be used in any current system". Can u pls explain "why not"? I have a comp without diskette drive, and I assigned A: to a disk partition long time ago. It never caused me any problems.

Since upgrading win8.1 to win10 Home I frequently get ennoying messages inviting me to activate OneDrive. I do not (never) want to use that. Can anyone tell me how to inactivate (or even better delete completely) OneDrive from a Win10 Home system?
On an external disk, I have a (Acronis TI) backup of the XP (fully updated) system disk made on an old computer. The system disk of that XP system was "J:". Now I want to restore that system disk to a new partition on a disk (not the first SATA drive which is an SSD) of the new computer...
