BSOD is rare but happens, usually it will just lag / stutter for a long time until it finally gives out wnd crashes. But sometimes it will lag / stutter for a long time and its very unusable in that state, and i dont know when exactly it will crash. But i will try and do that. Any other ideas...

How should it be the exact opposite? It seems these things were using GPU resources or whatever it uses even while the program isnt being used. Im just curious by the way.

I know what you mean, this was fixed for me by turning off hardware acceleration on everything i could. My browser (google chrome), my discord, everything. And also checking “disable fullscreen optimizations” on every game i play. And it was so much better.
