I updated the ssd firmware to the latest using the executive tool. Its more likely an issue do to being connected to the chipset and not the cpu (as mentioned elsewhere)

Just built a new system. The main nvme slot is working fine (t705 4tb is hitting advertised speeds on Crystal DiskMark). The issue is the T500 2tb nvme ssd running on the PCIe Gen4 port. The advertised seq read and write is 7400 MB/s and 7000 MB/s respectively. I am only getting 6500 MB/s...
