the drive fits the computer turns on it said select a boot path(no options to select) then nothing, no bios menu no options in boot menu if i restart it. i tryed my widows 7 it said the computer was under a security thing so it will not accept windows 7, currently downloading an iso of windows 8

i have a new samsung SSD drive for my acer laptop the old HDD is completely dead nothing to migrate from. the laptop will not accept new ssd, acer customer service want my to buy a windows 8 cd to fix the problem.
