I'm not sure about that but I just hooked up my monitor to my xbox and it worked so its definitely not my monitor.

I can change the monitor setting and theres not very many to begin with but all I get is "no HDMI input detected"

I tried both and nothing works. I tried using the DP or the HDMI and I tried both plugged in.

I just finished building my first pc and I plugged it into my brand new monitor and I can change the settings on the monitor but it constantly says no hdmi output or no DP output. I have used different cords, and it also didnt work on a different tv so I know its not the monitor. Any help is...
