i have a X99 Deluxe motherboard i am looking to upgrade the cpu i have, but am unsure as to which i can get, im looking for i7 max price £500-600 maybe more if you think its worth it. I have a XFX 750 pro PSU which will be running a GTX 1080 Ti, not sure if this will effect how powerful the CPU...

i was advised to get myself a Samsung's 840 Evo series, but was not ready to buy one yet, now i am, going to order it tonight, is this still the best choice ?

thought i might need a new mboard oh well guess ill just get a SSD for now :)

so i just upgrade my PSU AND GPU GTX 970 its a beast :) Now i wanna get a really good cooler for my CPU so i can OC it, i dont mind spending more for a Water cooler if you think its worth it, since im doing little upgrades so i can save for a new rig Gigabyte H61-DS2 DVI Mboard i7 3770k 3.4GHz...

I have read this only requires a 500w psu, which is what i have now, but my mboard only has pci 2.0 will my 500w psu and pci 2.0 be enough ?

but it is still gonna be alot greater than my R9 270x ?, i am doing a full new build in time, but right now dont have the money, but i can afford the gpu :)
