We make a low profile line of Vengeance memory also just for situations like this. Any Vengeance part with "LP" in the part number is low profile and will work with the larger coolers.

Your best CPU cooling will be with the fan pulling cool air into the case from the outside. Also, 2 fans will work better than 1 fan regardless of pulling air in or exhausting out of the case.

You may also want to secure erase the SSD if you don't already have important data back on it.

Is the radiator getting warm at all, especially right where the hoses go into the rad? If it is not getting warm, that may be a sign that the pump is not functioning. Check your power to your pump and make sure that you are getting power and see if you can hear the pump running.
