I'm just about to buy this build. Ive settled with the z97 mobo in case I want to overclock with a cpu that I get down the road but for right now I just don't see the point in spending an extra 40 dollars for a k series and then have to buy a cpu cooler to overclock it. What do you guys think?

For the 4690k does it come with a stock cpu cooler? And if so would it be able to handle light overclocking with it?

Thanks for you reply. I did some basic research and found out that the h97 chipset wasn't able to overclock like the z97 chipset. Is this true? And I agree with you on the case. It's a pretty cheap one and will look for a better one. I noticed that the gpu you chose was 35 dollars more but still...

Alright I've made a few builds and asked a few people for some reviews of them and this is what I've come to.. will this be able to play games alright and last me a year or 2 without getting too outdated? Will also be used for school work like Word and alot of Web browsing...

Thanks. So for around the same price (6300 with fan vs 8320 with out fan) I would probably get better performance with the 6300 beings if I overclock it compared to the stock 8320? What games would utilize all 8 cores that the 8320 has?

Game wise I'm not 100 percent sure.. I've never really played any pc games but on the xbox I enjoy games like battlefield and skyrim and gta 5
