My friend just bought a new computer to swap some parts out and upgrade his main PC. It is all together now but not getting any video from the GPU.
He tried inserting a known good GPU and that didn't get any display either. When booting it up on the on board display it does post and he's able...
I'm currently playing RDR 2 and the game runs great. Running everything ultra @1080p i'm getting around 60-70 FPS with my GTX 1080s. I thought everything was working great until I noticed the sky was flickering pretty bad.
Both GPUs are running at around 98% with temps ranging from 70-80 degrees...
Rockstar just put out a 2.9 GB patch that fixed the issues I was having. They also fixed their SLI support.
Running 2 GTX 1080s I was able to achieve an average of 75FPS on Ultra settings @1080p although there is some flickering in the pause menu (which is to be expected with SLI)
thanks for the...
I've been fiddling around with RDR2 after its terrible launch and finally got the game playable, theres just one problem. I have horrible screen tearing, I thought it would go away if I turned on VSync but that only made the problem worse. Without VSync, it improves but its still pretty bad.
I...
The parts you chose will definetly fit the criteria for what you're looking for.
as for storage (my opinion) is to get one SSD to run your operating system and a few other apps of your choice, and then a larger HDD for everything else. for example; I have 750GB of SSD storage, and 14TB of HDD...
sadly no. They again have the L version which is not compatible with my mobo. I also tried taking the like of the bridge I need and just type .ca on the end but that doesn't work either. It's really easy to see if you look up images of the two side by side, you'll notice the M version...
You could try re-seating the ram sticks (or try booting on only one) another possible fix that people seem to forget about is cleaning your pc. It may sound stupid but taking a can of compressed air to your PSU, GPU, and CPU cooler could be a potential fix. I would fiddle around with the RAM...
I have basically the exact same build and am using the HTC Vive, works great
PC should run any VR game just fine
I7 6700k @4.0 GHZ
32GB GSkill 2133
MSI GTX 1080x (X2 SLI)
It increases the internal resolution the game is running at, so it's essentially downscaling.
ie, if you're playing the game at 1920x1080 and you set the frame scaling to 200%, the game will be rendered at 3840x2160 (which is 4K) then downscaled to 1080p. It essentially multiplies the...
WTF, I didnt think that would actually work but it did. I dont understand why its so buggy. Thanks(y) I installed Twitter and then clicked install on Horizon 3 and it started downloading after about 5 mins.
yeah, MSAA and TXAA will milk all your performance, and FXAA is the least demanding and looks good. About the GPU usage im not %100 sure but its not something to worry about. I know GTAV is a very CPU intensive game so that could be why. It could also have something to do with Vsync but again...
