    Thank you, I really appreciate it I might just suck it up and run the ethernet cable. This may be silly but i have an old Wireless N adapter laying around from my xbox, no chance that can be used right it says its a 5GHz band.

    I tried to set up a second monitor as my primary is connected to the nvidia graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050). I connected a (second) working monitor by HDMI to the hdmi port connected to the motherboard (GA-78LMT-USB3 R2) and it reports no signal. It doesn't show up under device manager...
