    Keyboard: Have to press and hold key for it to type out

    I have the same problem with my Lenovo ThinkPad as you did. Instead of normal typing, I really have to wait for the extra 3 seconds for the letter to show up on the screen. It is really annoying and unpleasant !

    letters won't show upon pressing unless holding to the key for 2-3 seconds

    I can type actually but at a very low speed---I need to press on the key and hold for 2-3 seconds for the letter to appear on the screen. The same is true to the arrow keys, pageup/pagedown, delete, backspace, space, enter, etc. Almost ever key on my keyboard.
