Hey, I had the same symptoms when I forgot to plug in the 4 pin CPU power. No POST, no beeps, black screen. So, since I am sure you do have it connected, I wonder if it could be the powersupply not supplying power correctly to the 4 pin CPU power.... Just my 2 cents.
