After new build, HDD isn't recognized

Well I finally figured out it was that I used a different SATA power cable that was for another PSU. I used it without thinking it would be an issue but it turns out it fried the HDDs. Have since replaced it with one of my own and works with replacement drives.

After new build, HDD isn't recognized

I'd like to just order a new drive but if its the mobo and not my fault I'd like to know but I have no idea how I would tell at this point, without risking another drive that is.

After new build, HDD isn't recognized

    Good first build?

That's a great budget build but I suggest buying a cheaper CPU and spending more on the GPU. That was my mistake with my first budget build and one that I wish I could have avoided. So other than that its a pretty good first build. Also if you can find 2 4 gb sticks it would be faster.

Web Design and Development Rig (Need Help)

I'm pretty sure you would want to go with a Quadro or Tesla based card since they are designed more for what you would be using it for. Also a 1100 watt PSU might be a little much.

    GTX 780 question....

I would go with the EVGA since they make quality GPUs and always put a little more performance into there cards

    Low gpu usage

Does your power supply have enough watts to support it?

Will the GTX 660Ti fits into my Mid-Tower case?

It should fit, and your power supply can handle it. Although if you fork over an extra $20-30 dollars you could get a GTX 760
