I have never had a Mac. I was thinking, if it makes no different to the battery, closing the lid is a lot quicker to turn on the laptop. On a Windows PC, I'd usually turn it off.
I only use my laptop about twice per week, is closing the lid going to drain the battery a lot more than turning it off? as it takes quite a long time?
Sorry, I'm expecting too much from my MacBook, as some Windows PC's have a return button, for example on a browser, when you want to return to the former page.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Bios should detect any good drive connected to the PC regardless of OS installed or not or even if it's formatted or not. That's what Sixty4 is asking: why Bios is not detecting the other drives he owns? Except that one (THNSNH256GBST SSD)
You know Google and others follow your activities for various reasons?
Not sure why, but I have a feeling that Google algorithm removed the video tab from your account searches.
You seem to have done everything I would
As drive is not present in the BIOS
Take the SSD out and connect to a different PC, as sometimes a specific PC would have a problem with a specific hard drive.
Connect to a different PC via USB hub
I have two types of USB enclosures, One with power supply...
