I know...but I did install the R9 270x into the Maximus and it failed to work ( fans did spin, but no image on screen ) . Then I put in a rubbish 9500GT and it worked. Take it I can't use a PCIe 3.0 cards in the Maximus Just rubbish cards with less power than r270x😮

True, but so does the Inwin 101 (supports 12" x 10.5“ ATX) but that takes the EXTREME-Z without any problems.
