Would they be a way to stick all of this including a triple fan gpu into a very small case. To be able to take it to uni. Possibly a microatx.

I am considering a 3600 for an extra £10. And also factoring in a new psu and decent case it would go over £400.

I have a asus 144hz gaming monitor.

Could i still use this build without a new psu for a couple of months until i get a new one.

Hopefully i can get a 3600 on a black friday discount and spend the left over money on rgb

I'm upgrading my build and have 400 pound to use. Im thinking about changing motherboards and getting a amd 3600x but not sure. I also need a new case preferably something like a nzxt h400. Any suggestion would be appreciated. My specs are : Gtx 1060 6gb asus dog I7 3700k not.overclocked...

Would my 17 3700k be able to handle vr and would it be playable. Just ordered rift s and want to be prepared. I am also using 14gb ram and a overclocked asus gtx 1060 6gb. I now it meets the minimum requirements but dont now if vr will be any fun on my specs.

would suggest depending on budget to get more ram or a new cpu. But if your budget is low you could buy a better cooler and overclock the cpu.

have you tried clearing the cmos. Also did you do any updates the night before.

ticking sounds tend to be associated with the psu so if you can confirm that its from the psu then it most likely the psu.

have you tried looking in disk management

If its the cpu that is overheating which you can check with a temperature monitor. if so then you can try replacing the thermal paste.
