Question Z170-A giving high Vcore values on a 6700K

I will reset the RAM and post the results. It's 1AM right now so it will have to wait till tomorrow. Thanks again for the detailed process. It's always good to go step-by step even tho I'm not a complete beginner. I probably know just enough to mess things up.

Question Z170-A giving high Vcore values on a 6700K

I'm overclocking my i7 6700k on a Z170-A mobo. I was using the mobo's "EZ Tuning" feature to get a benchmark for how much I can overclock my CPU on this board before manually setting it. It has essentially 3 different tuning settings and each seemed to give me higher than normal Vcore values...

Question Efficient way to hook up many HDDs (10+)

I'd be building this pretty much from scratch. I have an old Gpu and some cables lying around but that's about it. I've never messed with a rack server, but if I got one, I'd be treating it pretty much like a standalone tower. They are 2.5" SATA III drives.

Question Efficient way to hook up many HDDs (10+)

So I have 20-something 2.5" SATA 500gb hard drives procured from various reclaimed PCs. Right now they're just collecting dust. I want to put them to use in some kind of home server/ NAS. What's an efficient (cheap) way to hook them up? For any ground-up build I would need to get a case...

    Boost Headset Microphone level/quality?

I have a Sennheiser GSP 300 headset. It is analogue with a split headphone/mic cable. Recording with the mic is fine, but the levels with the mic seem very low. - I have boosted the levels in Windows Sound, but that just adds a lot of white noise. - Used VoiceMeeter to try and boost levels &...

PC Won't Connect to Ethernet or Wifi After Installing Bandwith Monitor.

Like the title says. I installed a bandwith monitor because Comcast had a brilliant business plan to limit my 'unlimited' internet. But Comcast is not the problem. The problem is, almost immediately after I installed the broadband monitor my internet died. I can't connect wired or wirelessly on...

    Replacement / Options for a dead P8Z77-V?

So my P8Z77-V Pro hit the dust. Something went wrong with the memory bank and now the whole board isn't working. I'm now looking for a new 1155 socket mobo, but am having a hard time actually finding one to buy. I was thinking instead of getting another P8Z77 i'd get something like a Maximus V...
