    NAS Custom Build - need feedback

    Even better, that saves me some money! As this is just for my home, is RAID necessary? I probably dont need the security but seems like most people tend to use it for redundancy as the HDDs tend to fail from time to time. Otherwise I will go with FreeNas software with fingers crossed.
