Thanks for your reply Rdgeno. I actually got to messing around with everything on the PC and did a few more tests and eventually discovered some of my extra VR equipment was to blame. After unplugging the extras and leaving just the Vive link connected I stopped having these issues completely...

I do (just got it actually) But as for bottlenecks you won't really have to worry about that with monitors...when it comes to monitors the thing to look out for are that one's too big can have scaling issues (especially if you get a TV for a monitor) and ones with unpopular resolutions might not...

1080p is just fine, the monitor I game on is 1080p 144hz. The one you currently have linked in this thread should work great for 1080p gaming.
