Alright, today I installed the freshly arrived 5700XT and the system booted up perfectly fine. It was a nothing else than dead GPU after all.

Thanks for your input. I've tested it with both connectors of the cable, but no difference. There's not much I can do, because the PSU is semi modular, which means that the PCI-E power cord is not removable. I'm gonna wait till the new GPU arrives and see if that solves the problem, using...

If it's not the GPU, the only possible thing that could cause this is a bad motherboard, right?

I already reseated it multiple times and PCI-E power is properly clicked in. Even the fan on the GPU is spinning, so it's getting power for sure. I'm guessing, the RAMDAC is dead.

I already tried that, yielded the same results.
