Can you provide a list of your PCs hardware? CPU: Motherboard: Memory: Storage: PSU: Just a quick question - is your monitor plugged into your graphics card at the back? Make sure you aren't connecting it to your motherboad. Additionally have you updated your drivers/tried reinstalling them?

[SOLVED] My cpu clockspeed keeps lowering when i play games

Check your power options - If it's set to power saving or balanced. If you're on Windows 10 navigate to the bottom left and search "Power and sleep" -> Scroll down a bit and click "Additional power settings" -> Check if it's on powersaving/balanced, you want your PC set to High Performance.

    [SOLVED] Fan Direction

If you could unscrew the fan and look around the black plastic shell - there is usually an arrow that points in the direction the air blows. However if you want it to blow hot air up and out of the case, the coolermaster sticker on the middle should not be visible - so you will need to flip the...

    [SOLVED] Ryzen 5 3600 vs Ryzen 3 3300x

Short answer: Ryzen 5 3600 is best. It has 2 additional cores (6 cores, compared to the 3300x which only has 4) - and an additional 4 threads. The L3 cache is also double - 32mb, compared to 16mb for the 3300x. They both come with the same Wraith Stealth cooler - but the 3600 is a monster for...

[SOLVED] Help! Laptop stuck on boot (with brand logo loading, not sure of the term)

There are some tools like Hiren's Boot CD (https://www.hiren.info/pages/bootcd) or https://www.ultimatebootcd.com that can be used to test computer hardware. (I have never used these personally but there are a number of similar tools available online). You create a bootable CD/USB and can run...

[SOLVED] Should I replace my 1060 gb for a 2080 RTX?

I would hold off as well, the new 3000 series from Nvidia will be available soon - the last thing you want to do is drop $~1000 on a graphics card, for a new one to drop a few months later (at a similar price) and be even more powerful.

[SOLVED] Someone found my name and ip??

The person probably just looked at your Steam account to get your first name (or other online sites you're signed up to) - I would just block them and maybe set your Steam to private and in Discord you can also add some privacy stuff as well. Overall I wouldn't be concerned, just a keyboard...

[SOLVED] Can someone explain the possible cause for this please?

I would recommend using a tool called DDU (this guy does an alright video on it: View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bP-2B14Nckw ) to completely remove your display drivers and nvidia software. If you could also post a list of your system hardware that would be great. Additionally, are...

    [SOLVED] Best ~$700 PC Build?

Vic 40 made a good list - however it might be worth holding off for a few weeks and try and save a bit more money - spending another $250 - 500 will really improve the overall build and give it much better performance. Because honestly a $750 PC build will struggle in the long run.

    Question Laptop exhaust fin damaged.

It might be worth keeping a screenshot of the damage just for future reference - and maybe a screenshot of this webpage as well. Just in case. Good luck :)

[SOLVED] Help! Laptop stuck on boot (with brand logo loading, not sure of the term)

If it's only a week old then that might be the best - I thought it was an older device that was out of warranty.

[SOLVED] Why is my cpu temp so high?

The system is definitely running a bit warm - most idle temps i'd expect to see around 30,40, 50c but 64 degrees on almost 0% load is high. I'd say the issue lies with your cooler - do you have the original cooler that came with the CPU? If you have some fresh thermal paste you could install...

[SOLVED] Installing w7 on old computer

I agree with Lutfij it could be an issue with using an installer/third party windows creation tool - or the version of Windows 7 you have downloaded (I'm assuming you aren't using an original windows 7 disk?)

    [SOLVED] Multiple BSOD everytime

I agree with Bassplate doing a fresh Windows installation is the next best step - otherwise you will end up wasting hours trying to mess around and fix this issues. If you're not very confident/have never done this before I would recommend taking it to a PC repair shop if you have one...
