Yea it works, changed boot priority to the DVD drive and it boots up normal onto a Windows CD, connected back the SSD and changed it to back to that. Thanks a lot, you are my hero :)

I just switched it over to the cpu-fan, now it gives me a A2 then blinks 2-3 times, goes into bios and now gives me AE for (Legacy boot event)

Was looking in the user guide for the motherboard and the cpu-opt and cpu-fan was connected to the number 3 and so thought it could be used for the same purpose, this is my first time building a system

just checked the fan controls all was on 300 rpm, the cpu fan is a corsair h100i the fans is connected to it, and is plugged into the cpu opt pin
