So now I've tried both Prime 95 and unbuntu. Prime 95 wouldn't let me select any kind of test and would freeze before giving me the chance. And unbuntu would do the same as Windows install and reboot while attempting to start setup. I don't know if this is caused by my cpu, motherboard, or my RAM.
So I finally got around to trying the Prime 95 boot to test my pc, and it freezes and won't let me initialize any tests. What does this mean? Is this an issue with my motherboard or my cpu?
Yes, I ran the memtest already and it passed all of the tests, no issues came up. I updated the bios to the latest version 7C95v28 as well, so it's not the bios. I'll try your other suggestion though and see what happens
