you get better temps from mounting it on the front, anyway found out that even if i watercool i still need to connect the 2 fans from radiator in some fan header but i dont have any fan headers left, and i need 2 more, it looks like last option is to use these dirty fan spliters and go with air...
/are you kidding me? there's no way a motherboard for this price only can support 2 fans, im annoyed so hard right now as i dont want to use splitters and crap like that, it makes everything look makeshit and horrible, are there any other z370 mobos that can support 4 fans?
edit: just...
quick edit i decided to go for the i7 8700k for 150$ more, also regarding the mobo z370f how many fan headers does it have? ill use 4 case fans and i wonder if it can support all of them (4 pin connectors)
thanks for the quick responds, so far looks like ill go with the i5 because of the extra cores that might be useful in multitasking and also the z370f motherboard will leave room to upgrade with the coffelake i7 when my i5 cant handle it anymore (im expecting minimum 2 years of hard use before...
one more question tho ill be using the cpu with be quiet dark rock 3 pro cooler, will the i5 overclock any good? im air cooling so i wont expect anything amazing but how much could i push it?
so im building a gaming pc for christmas with a gtx 1080 ti strix, 16gb ram etc, i was wondering whether i should get a i5 8600k or i7 7700k, i saw that the performance is the same but the i5 has more cores, they are exactly same price both cpus, however the motherboard that i want to get for i7...

im still open to suggestions tho if i should change anything
i didnt buy anything yet, but would you mind explaining why is i5 8700k is better than i7 7700k? tought i7's are supposed to be better, also between msi h270 carbon pro and z270f which would be the best?
btw will i be able to sync the colors of the z270f with my gtx 1080 strix? they are made by...
So im building a pc for chirstmas with a i7 7700k and gtx 1080 strix, the cpu cooler is cryorig h5 ultimate, ill be doing a little bit of overclock on my cpu & gpu but not too much. Before anything here's a list of what i was thinking to get...

thanks for letting me know about the psu, i choose that one because it was actually very cheap compared to the other ones, about the cpu cooler though, what temps should i expect and will it be enough for maybe a bit of overclock too?
