Thank you. I just realized that the 1366x768 resolution limit is due to the local screen of the laptop. The graphics card, Intel HD Graphics 520, although integrated, is powerful enough to support 4K resolution at 3840 x 2160@60 Hz of the monitor (though not 4096 x 2160). I'll buy a DP 1.4 cable...
