Is it possible to upgrade an old Dell Dimension E520 into a gaming computer?

shared cache vs separate cache
will someone post a benchmark between Intel E2200 vs AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ Brisbane 2.2GHz for example? I'm curious about the result because one has shared cache, the other has separate cache both has same total cache size thank you
