It isnt that old, the CPU is sort of a equivalent to i7 3770K in terms of gaming performance, which can still game everything if im not mistaken. The ram looks so good!

I just got the Xeon a few days ago from Ebay for $60 USD to replace my 3570k. It's the same speed but I have 8 threads now instead of 4. A small upgrade that makes my map compiles go faster.

Any reason for the Xeon of the i7?
Other than price, possibly.

Yeah, price. The 3770 was going for $80 to $100 or higher and xeon is just as good. Fewer people know about xeon's I guess.

Including me, but i've seen some videos on yt where they upgrade old office pc's with Xeon cpu's to "revive" them. The numbers are the most confusing thing about Xeon's for me.
For example you have the i7 6700K, then you have the i7 7700K, then you have the i7 8700K, then you have the 9700K, you get the point, but with Xeon's its just random numbers for me i swear xD
