My pc is not outputting any sound from any line in port in the pc. the front and back ports both work, when i insert some headphones in them they are detected normally. sound comes out normally when the audio output device is set to hdmi. HOWEVER if i switch to the headphones then sound stops...

I posted this problem on Reddit and didn't really get anywhere. Hoping that maybe I can get more help here. TL;DR My USB headset keeps connecting and disconnecting, I'm not sure if it's a power supply issue but the headset works on other computers fine. I've done literally everything I can...
