    [SOLVED] Faster less ram or more slower ram?

    So I have this 8 GB stick that will get my pc to 12 GB, which is just temporary until I can get a new ram kit for 16 GB. My pc currently has 8 GB of ram running in dual channel @ 3200 MT/s. The spare 8 GB stick I have is single and running @ 2666 MT/s. If I combine these, they will run at 2666...
